What to save before you fly

Your destination

Save the hotel name, address, check-in instructions and final walking route. A station name alone may not tell you which exit to use.

Your luggage plan

Count the bags you will carry. Consider lifts, transfers and the final walk when comparing travel options. Keep essential items with you.

Your fallback

Keep the hotel contact details and an alternative arrival plan. Recheck transport if your flight or baggage collection is delayed.

Your arrival plan: save these four things

Make one short note that you can find without searching through your inbox after landing.

  1. Hotel details: the name and full address as shown in your booking, the map pin, check-in instructions and contact details. Save the Japanese address if the hotel provides one.
  2. Airport details: the airport and arrival terminal from your airline. Check again if your booking changes; do not assume all flights use the same terminal.
  3. The complete route: your departure point, destination station, any transfer and the walk to the hotel. A direct airport train may still leave you with a transfer or a long walk at the other end.
  4. A delayed-arrival plan: where to check current transport and how to contact the hotel if you will arrive later than planned. Check services for your actual travel date.

Travelling with bags? Compare the number of transfers, lift access and final walk before choosing. Save screenshots of the route and hotel details while you still have a connection; live maps and service updates need internet access.

Do all language editions have the same contents?

No. Length and coverage vary. Check the description and source dates in your edition. Specialist guides are not translated into all 25 languages.

How do I open the downloads on my phone?

On the Payhip download page, select the ZIP part containing your language. Save it to your device, then extract or uncompress it in your file app. Open the PDF for your language and save it somewhere easy to find. Download over Wi-Fi if you want to avoid using mobile data. If your device cannot extract ZIP files, use a computer to extract your PDF and transfer it to your phone.

Which ZIP contains my language?

The language lists above show the two parts. You only need the part containing the language you want to read. The pack is free; you do not need to buy a longer guide to use the arrival PDFs.

Can I read the guide offline?

Yes, after downloading and extracting it. External maps and operator websites need internet access.

Are tickets or bookings included?

No. These are independent travel guides, not tickets, reservations or personal travel support.

Are PDF cover images actual airport photographs?

No. The covers are AI-generated concept illustrations labelled AI Image. They do not document or reconstruct a particular airport.
